On a show a while back when Claire showed up the only thing was mentioned was Kyle why are you fighting me on this again I had to fight you already for custody visitation rights. Was never really mentioned about adoption .
May Katie and Claire bond by both of them going completely over the edge and starting a murder spree. They can start with Slumber leaving pieces of her allover GC, then Nikki cam be next.

I believe Diane's intension is to take Jabot away from the Abbott family and KY played right into her hands, but to be honest ANYONE but Jack would of fired KY long ago.
