Spoilers for the week of December 15-19
The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers update for the week of December 15-19 reveals that Matt Clark aka “Mitch Bacall (Roger Howarth) and Nick Newman’s (Joshua Morrow) feud will spiral out of control while Diane Jenkins Abbott (Susan Walters) sends out an SOS to Michael Baldwin (Christian LeBlanc).
While the Abbott Communications launch party is in progress, Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) will push Adam Newman (Mark Grossman) to destroy Jack Abbott’s (Peter Bergman) reputation through Newman Media.
Jabot’s shutdown news will make plenty of waves as everyone speculates about this being the end of the company.
Victor will be quite pleased with himself, but Jack will come up with a plan for payback.
Since Adam won’t tell Chelsea Lawson (Melissa Claire Egan) what he’s doing in advance, she’ll lash out at him.
Chelsea won’t like the fact that Adam’s become a little Newman soldier who just does whatever Victor wants.
As for Nikki Newman (Melody Thomas Scott), she’ll blow her top when she hears about Victor’s latest strategy against Jack.
Victor will rush to his own defense, but Nikki will definitely have some issues with his actions.
Jack will stir up even more conflict between Nikki and Victor later, but he’ll also rip into Adam and Chelsea for what Newman Media published.
Chelsea may argue her hands were clean, but Jack will still hold her responsible for not keeping Adam in check.
Over with Diane, she’ll send out an SOS to Michael. Diane may seek help getting the upper hand on Victor, so Michael will feel torn between his friendship with Diane and his Newman loyalty.
After Cane Ashby (Billy Flynn) rejects Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford) again, things will be prickly between them at the launch bash.
Cane will mostly just want to concentrate on Lily Winters (Christel Khalil) and the second chance he’s hoping to score with her.
At some point, Y&R spoilers say Phyllis will do a little negotiating with Billy.
It turns out Billy will want to work out a deal with Phyllis, so she’ll no doubt drive a hard bargain.
While Claire Newman (Hayley Erin) and Kyle Abbott (Michael Mealor) strengthen their partnership against Audra Charles (Zuleyka Silver), Audra may come up with some ways to protect herself and fight back.
Kyle will also get in touch with Summer Newman (last played by Allison Lanier), so he’ll have some updates to share in his message.
Will this involve Jabot info that affects Marchetti or perhaps the Matt danger?
Victor considers Harrison Abbott (Redding Munsell) his great-grandchild, so there might be concerns about his safety that Summer needs to be made aware of.
Of course, Victor will do his best to protect anyone connected to him, but Matt’s already back in Genoa City and will have multiple targets.
Detective Annie Stewart (Catherine Kresge) will also make her way to Genoa City and assist with Matt’s vengeful moves, so look for her to go after Sienna Bacall (Tamara Braun) on Matt’s orders.
Matt will focus on targeting the Newmans himself since he’s got a scheme to get back what was stolen from him.
Victor left Matt in financial ruin, but Matt intends to undo that with some new leverage.
Plus, The Young and the Restless spoilers say Matt and Nick’s feud will go off the rails during the week of December 15-19, so stay tuned.
