DeleteThe part I don’t get is if Nick knows Matt Clark as well as he says, why was Matt able to get away from Nick and almost succeeded killing Nick…I guess Noah is a chip of the old block…bad decisions and all talk…is that what money does to rich people? They believe they’re so above everyone else including the law and ruining other people’s lives…it’s time they get a dose of reality with what Victor in a heart beat would do to anyone else…he’s even mean to his own family…although I would love that scenario play out where the Newmans lose everything, they won’t🤷🏻
Deleteit's not paranoia if the person is lying their face off to you. billy is lying to himself first off and then everyone else. he keeps promising to focus on her and abbott communications when all he really wants is revenge. billy willy would wreck their relationship in a heartbeat over that revenge. he's blinded by rage & revenge. the moment someone dangles even the possibility of revenge in his direction, they can manipulate him. cane and anyone else can pull his strings like a puppeteer. she sees that and is justifiably concerned.

DeleteThe writers wanted to keep the story going, so it doesn't matter if Nick knew Matt well or not. As for the rich getting away with things, that's not just in soaps but a reality.
